       Velanidia is an underpopulated agricultural dorp, at the south part of Samos. It is 4 kilometers far from Marathokampos and 1,5 kilometers far from Ormos of Marathokampos. In Velanidia there are not a lot of houses. The houses that you can find there, are only old rural houses in a down country full of olive trees, fruit trees, flumes, vineyards and gardens with green vegetables. It is a heaven on earth, combining the green of nature with the blue of the sea.
